An ebulliometer will provide one of the easiest, fastest, most accurate methods of determining the alcohol content in dry wines. The test is based on the difference in boiling points of water and wine, and the ebulliometer provides a very accurate measure of these factors.

This traditional non-electric ebulliometer by Alla-France comes complete with metal storage box, digital thermometer & bung, calculation disk, glass alcohol lamp, water/wine measurement test tube, fuel lamp, metal assembly (2 parts), instruction manual and spare wicks. This unit has comparable accuracy to the Dujardin-Salleron Model 360 ebulliometer.

Replacement parts are available; some parts require special ordering so please allow for transit times.

Some helpful measurments:
Bung hole for thermometer is 12mm id

The thermometer probe is 4mm in diameter

A #00 bung fits this thermometer (drilled to 4mm)
