Chinosol Fungicide (8-hydroxy quinoline sulfate), powder, 3 lb. This is the best available agent to inhibit Botrytis cinerea infections. Scions may be dipped in a 0.3% solution for up to about 5 hours. The solution may be reused at least three times. It may be used as an 0.1% spray after the grafts have leafed out. A one pound jar contains enough Chinosol to do about 5,000 grafts. It can also be dissolved in grafting wax (listed below under other items you may need) to further protect the wax coated grafts from Botrytis infection.
