Our plastic bubbler airlock is our most popular airlock for wine fermentation. In many ways this two bubble airlock is the best we offer:

  • Features a capped funnel opening
  • Rugged and durable, it is compatible with carboys or winemaking barrels
  • Good capacity and retains water levels for months.

The only disadvantage to this bubble airlock is that it is more difficult to clean than some other locks. Rubber stopper is not included- see our selection of bungs and stoppers to fit your carboy or barrel.

The bubbler airlock is also sometimes referred to as a bubble, s-bubble, twin bubble, two bubble, or s-shaped airlock.

Harder to clean but worth it.

My kids love watching the bubbles pop in this and I love the look. There is probably no difference in the airlocks but I would rather spend extra time cleaning this one.
