Consistently one of our best varietals, our phenomenal 2013 vintage was honored as Pennsylvania’s Best Wine, and we think this version from the great 2020 vintage will be even better. Deep base notes of raspberry, capsicum and mocha open up to aromas of crushed herbs and cedar. Rich complexity and subtle tannins have developed from 13 months aging in new and 2 yr old French oak barrels.
Serve at cool room temperature - try pairing with mushroom risotto, lightly marinated meats, game, or hard cheeses.
