Flavors of fresh herbs and orange peels float amongst the fruity characteristics of our Blaufränkisch, an Austrian variety that grows very well in our region. Aged 14 months in French and oak barrels giving a medium, spicy oak finish that ends in an airy coconut appeal. This light to medium-bodied, dry red rounds out a nice, hearty stew or pasta with a tomato or vinegar-based sauce. This beautifully colored wine also makes a very nice base for sangria.
