Our classically styled reserve Chardonnay was aged 12 months in premium French oak puncheons to provide an exceptionally refined oak infusion and optimal balance between toasty oak and citrus and melon highlights. Puncheons have a much higher ratio of volume to wood surface so the oak aging is much more delicate and balanced than with standard barrels. The finish is soft and creamy and pleasantly smooth, yet dry.
Pairs well with rich seafood and light creamy sauces, as well as lightly grilled white meats and fish.
