An alternative to using wine barrels, these high quality oak staves will vary the color, flavor, and texture of your wine, invoking oak textures and aromas into your home or commercial made wine. Dimensions: 1000 X 95 X 10mm. 10 oak staves included in each package. "

On the light end use 1 stave per 7 gallons.

On the heavy end use 1 stave per 5 gallons.

On 1000 gallons you would use 142 to 200 staves. They will displace a fair bit of liquid.

2nd year I added to stainless steel tank.. staves are user friendly.. one can regulate oak to preferred taste.. I won't use barrels any more.. too easy to contaminate wine
